Me as Fem!Crowley and my best friend as Fem!Aziraphale at AnimeNext 2012.
This year at AnimeNext I was so stoked to wear Good Omens cosplay. I'm not very good at crossplaying so I figured it would be safer for me to just Fem out my favorite GO character. I was super terrified that no one was going to know who I was, especially alone, so I bothered my best friend into cosplaying Aziraphale for me, even though she'd never read the book haha. (I did lend it to her but despite my pestering she never did actually read it).
At this point I honestly didn't even know there was a fandom for it on tumblr. I just went with my gut instinct with our interpretations as best we could. I brought along some props, both a spray bottle and a portable tape player with a tape in it (which was Mozart but I taped over it with Queen. It's the little things in life you know) that was labeled BEST OF QUEEN and I blasted it everywhere I went.
Turned out the cosplay was hit and my most popular all weekend DESPITE me thinking it wouldn't be and the fact that I was a fem version. I was so happy people recognized me. I had so many people stopping for pictures (of course none of them have turned up online >:I) and saying hi. I had an artist in the artist alley yell out "CROWLEY!!!" Every time I walked past (she's the one that took the above picture. I also bought a cute GO bookmark from her). Man it was the BOMB. I went to the Superwholock Omens meet up which was also the best time ever. I met the coolest Aziraphale there (pictured below, she's billspreston on tumblr). She was the one that indirectly made me jump into the GO fandom. I'd never even read a fanfiction before until she (gasped in surprise and) rattled off ones like A Diamond Sky Above the Titanic and The Sacred and the Profane. That lead into me going into the GO tag on tumblr and once I just started drawing fan art, all was lost.
I also met some really awesome Supernatural cosplayers who I hung out with for a bit. Dean (deepfry-ourselves-an-archangel on tumblr) was like the best Dean. He was so cool and nice and aghhh. I'd hung out with a Cas too (I'm sorry never caught their tumblr url :c) and we did silly photos, except my friends don't know how to take pictures so they kind of blow.

I can't wait to cosplay Crowley again. I have so many planned changes and improvements to the cosplay, I can't wait to get going. I am going to need to find an Aziraphale though since my friend probably won't do it again with me lol.
I'll probably do Crowley again at KotoriCon and MangaNext (and of course AnimeNext and maybe Otakon if I can get there next year).
I've also closet cosplayed Aziraphale, but just for shits and giggles. I'd love to put together a good Fem!Aziraphale cosplay though, but here's the closet one, just for fun:
