There was an understanding look on Natalies face as she listened to each of the other people say what they were saying. She sipped on her vodka thoughtfully, and listened. She was good at listening, though she had to to really succeed in spying. She had to have a lot of skills for that. If she had to count how many special skills she had for her job, she'd be there for a long time. Luckily, with being a demon, you got to jump through some hoops every once and a while. (Most of the time.) Just a small persuasive thought here and there and it got you into most places. Plus if you were the kind of looking person she was, you got into a lot more places easier. Men were to easy to persuade.
"Nah, I'm pretty sure it's an apple, but whatever," Natalie muttered, drinking the rest of her vodka and pushing it forward yet again for another re-fill. Since she was here being sociable, might as well support the local business. Well, it'd be local for one more day tops. She usually left as soon as she came to the places she had a job to do. She wasn't complaining, staying in one place for to long just gave her the jitters. She liked moving around and exploring the poor world that was slowly being sucked into the pits of hell, well not the actual pits of hell more like the pits of hell that are caused my human meddling. Human meddling has a large effect on things, and that makes demons jobs so much easier.
Natalie noticed the new person in the bar and nodded towards him in recognition when he said hello, but that was all she really gave him. She gave most people a massively cold shoulder, just like she had done with the other men in the bar. She sure was surrounded tonight. Natalie looked up when another question was addressed towards her and the others. "Well most of the time I'd say I like my job. It's well paying and it's fun, keeps me fit and allows me to travel around the world. I'm not really complaining here."
((SO SORRY THIS TOOK SO LONG! School ate my creativity and work ethic. I'll try to reply faster. ;3; I'm sorry guys.))

(Sorry this is so late-_-;; I've had family over all weekend and couldn't even get to my computer.)
Seiichiro eyed the group suspiciously. The lot of them positively reeked of magic, dark or other wise. He could almost see it on them now that he'd gotten closer. It was rather a good thing then that he vehemently refused to believe in such idiocy. The skepticism was, of course, all willful stubbornness on his part. But after ignoring Bri and his sister chasing dragons through the halls of university, (Well one very small dragon anyway and in his defense it had been exam week.) what harm could come of ignoring a few uneasy feelings.
“What sort of deal?” He asked. “Are you lot playing twenty questions or something like?”
He slipped his phone out and checked it lazily as he waited for a reply.
:Sorry Sei. Job looked interesting so had to take it. <3:
The dark haired man took a long swallow of his drink and smiled. It was not a particularly nice smile. There was a reckless edge to it that tended to set normal people running, or swinging their fists at him depending on their level of stupidity. He was practically begging for trouble. He typed up a quick reply and put the phone away.
:Go then. I've found something to keep me entertained.:
Sei's phone buzzed in his pocket again but he ignored it. Bri was well aware of the sort of thing that kept him entertained when he was in this sort of mood. If he got in over his head then all the more reason for the other man NOT to go tearing off to Africa on photo safari at the drop of a hat.

Enlil had little to no thoughts about the others reply. After all the guy got his answers, just not as..full of information as he wished. So he just snickered at their replies as they danced around their questions.
Enlil took a sip of his drink as the bartender went over to refill Natalie's drink yet again.
"..Yeah, I agree. 'Ad to be an apple. Not a lot of things grow on a tree."
Enlil put in his opinion. However before he could add more to that there was another question. He made a small face. "Eehhh..depends on the day... Sometimes I wanna punch everythin', other days it's great!"
Enlil turned to the new person in the group and smiled, then pointed to Harry with his thumb.
"'e gets ta ask ya one question, and ya get to read some of his journal pages."
Oh dear this man would be interesting. Just like all the others, but trouble was not on their list.
(SHORT REPLY I apologize! ;v ; )

Magnus was feeling very triumphant for sneaking past the boy's last question, but his eyes widened from hearing the next one on the list.
Did he like what he was doing?
Not in the least.
Sure, it had a lovely light and magic show, he was always one to see movies for special effects, but the actually substance was lacking. He could put on a mask and play the part, but that didn't mean he enjoyed it. He was gathering these hopeless mortal souls for his own survival. He couldn't afford to go back Down There, especially since his first trip resulted in severe beatings and he nearly starved down to a bone. He didn't plan on having any return trips.
He never asked to Fall or wanted to Fall, but sacrifices had to be made. He didn't dwell on those thoughts for long. Best left in the back of the mind. That's why he sought out bars after a good job well done, to keep those thoughts in the locked up safe where they belonged.
He wasn't sure if answering honestly would make his new company curious and dig deeper into his wounds, but he shook hands, he had to answer something. Not too much information, just had to watch his tone.
He wanted to jump out of his chair and scream "NO! I absolutely detest it!" and beg for help on his research to find a road back to Heaven. He had done sleepless nights of research, his bedroom was a mess with piles of paper, knocked over candles and splattered blood from failed rituals, as well as rips and tears on the wallpaper from his frustration. But that would be rather pathetic now, to admit such things.
"N-no," the shaky word reluctantly slipped out of his mouth.
He folded his arms over his chest, keeping his head down and avoiding any eye contact. He felt like a high school student attempting to escape the gaze of a persistent teacher. He squirmed uncomfortably in his seat and wiped his nose with his hand.

Harry blinked slowly and looked over towards Sei when Enlil began chatting with him. "Ah wait but-- I never did say--" he tried to get in, but of course Enlil far out spoke him. He wasn't sure if Sei was someone he should be questioning, of course it was always a possibility. "Ah well, yes something like what he said. They were quite interested in seeing my notes, so we traded. If you'd like to see them, then I would certainly not mind asking you question." He said with a small smile, tapping his fingers on the cover of the moleskin.
Like a child fixated on a good story, he listened to the others respond to his last question. The one who loved their job. The one who could take it or leave it, and the one who seemed...off guard. The responses were mixed, which wasn't what he expected actually. Everyone he usual worked with (ie. stuffy angels) always seemed to be very proud of their jobs touting how important their job was to the whole of creation. Harry never hated his job, but with this recent development, he could feel doubt creep under his ethereal skin. "I'm not sure myself. I like my job, oh certainly, but they've been making me do things that I don't believe I was meant to. I don't think I'm suited for the work they ask of me but I can't say no. I don't hate it though..." his eyes went to Magnus. He felt bad for him, and he wasn't sure why. No, it wasn't "bad" more like pity. The kind of pity most of his kind would feel towards those who were not of their jurisdiction. The ones they can't help. It was intrinsic, mostly. "Well certainly if you don't like your job, you could change it?" he asked.

At Magnuses reply, Natalie turned to the man in pink, and placed a reassuring and knowing hand on his shoulder and gave a small squeeze. She knew exactly how he felt. Though Natalie wasn't going to admit it to anyone at any point in time, she really didn't like her job that much. Sometimes she even felt envious of the fact that her other demon friends just got to hang at home, but no, Natalie had to always take the hard way around things. She always pushed herself to the extreme, no matter what. She was one of those people who pushed until they just finally collapsed or spun out. Natalie didn't take time to appreciate the world she had escaped to, but had just shoved work right in front of her and just kept working until she didn't have a choice anymore.
There was a knowing look in her eyes at this point, as she looked over to Harry. She knew, something about Magnus she connected with, if not just the fact that he hated his job. You can't quit a job like working for hell. That's not how it works. Hell, if Natalie had a choice in the matter, she'd much rather be just plain dead. Not in Heaven or hell. Both wouldn't be very preferred. She never was to religious, to her parents dismay. I guess being possessed by a demon and killing your entire family and then being burned alive and called a witch lands you a nifty spot in hell for some reason.
((Wow school is a butt. XD))
