Is everyone at school now or something? That's lame. :V
I wish everyone the best of luck for classes, though!
This was definitely one of my favorite sections to reread, especially with the large amounts of our favorite ineffable duo involved! So, again, I'll just be hopping around dropping some points and notes that I want to bring up and such.
We start off with Warlock's eleventh birthday party! Where the kids are cruel bratty bastards and Aziraphale has an embarrassing hobby that he's quite proud of.
I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one to face palm on the inside like Crowly when reading this part.
Azi. Azi please. You're too much. Too sweet, but so embarrassing. I love this angel.
Also, this was a good reminder of how mean kids could be, too.
I'm torn because one little girl has decent taste in liking transformers, but then called Azi a faggot. Mmmmm, sorry, honey, you're a terrible child and I'm not sorry.
I also would like to note that if Azi didn't blink in time when Warlock fired the gun, Crowley would have been shot and horribly inconvenienced, but thankfully he just got a quick rinse. I find it very fun that angels and demons can just quickly alter or conjure something up with a wave of the hand or a blink of an eye. Life would be terribly easy if we could do that.
It's also after the party that Crowley breathes life back into a former squished dove from Azi's sleeve. I always found that sweet and it's a nice small glimpse of Crowley's "goodness."
I'd address Dog's scene next, but I feel that that should be a separate thread, so I'll skip it for now.
I'm going to fast forward ahead close to where Anathema crashes into the Bentley, since that's another favorite part of mine. I always love how stories that have multiple characters with their own arcs crosses the paths of other characters. It makes me happy every time.
Though, before their worlds collide, Aziraphale feels an odd sensation of "love."
Oh, Azi, come off! This is just another one of his attempts to put Crowley down in order to feel superior and "holier" than the demon, but I feel as if Crowley really could care less about those remarks. He knows the angel is still on the stuffy side.
Then, Anathema crashes into them and it's another opportunity for Aziraphale to do good and going overboard. He's just trying so hard to show to others that he is a good angel and to prove to himself that he's a good that he goes over the top. He probably doesn't get such opportunities that often, especially when he's scaring customers away from his bookshop, so he's just ravenous to prove his worth as a "good" angel.
Also, Crowley calling Azi "angel" in front of Anathema and her reaction to that was great. I snorted.
Now later, just Aziraphale had an opportunity to do good, Crowley took the chance to do some "bad." Though, not necessarily "bad" as more of giving those crazed paintballers the "option" for some real action. He is a demon after all and he has a job himself, too. Despite that, I find Crowley to be amazingly strong willed since it's mentioned how he longed to steal radios or put out tires, but resisted actually executing those crimes. It's another good example of how he's different from other demons and has that "spark of goodness." I mean, hey, all those paintball guys are going to be all right.
Speaking of paintballers, was anyone else shocked the first time when they read that Crowley and Aziraphale were shot? Do you think that their vessels have been killed before or they just know how tedious the process is from hearing stories? Also, what form do you think Crowley took to scare that one paintball guy that had maggots involved?
As for now, I'm going to leave it at that before this post gets too long and let you guys talk it up now. Any other thoughts to add or discuss?

"There seems to be this great sense of love. I can't put it any better than that. Especially not to you."
