...So.... Are we going to discuss this or not? Crowley is apparently a huge enough fan of Soul Music to be absolutely meticulous about what's included in it, and that it's arranged in the right order. On some level it's probably also a pun on the whole 'demon collecting immortal souls' thing? I know absolutely nothing about Soul, myself. So... share your thoughts, people. ^^ And he's got a bookcase. I wonder what's in it.

Oh gosh, it has been rather dead around here, hasn't it? I've been wondering if someone was ever going to post! I would of myself but I've been so busy....
I think that that pun was one of the best puns I've seen in the book. (There are a few that out beat it but this one I had to re-read because the first thing that clicked in my head was the fact of collecting souls. Re-reading the quote I still am never sure if they really meant 'soul' music or soul music.)
Sadly I know very little about soul myself, the stuff I do hear I love! The arranging it in alphabetical order gives me the idea that this is not the first time Crowley has either been bored or in a similar situation. (Well, can't really be in a similar situation but you know, being antsy. )
That does raise questions about the bookcase... after all if Crowley has his own collection, it raises what would be his favorite books and things like that. Or are they old books Aziraphale might of thought he would like? Maybe a mix from both. Possibilities are endless there.

Crowley's Soul collection was a great pun. What I do know about Soul is that it had its roots in Gospel music but, unlike Gospel, Soul lyrics tend to be secular. I'm not sure what to make for that but I feel it's relevant somehow...
