I hope they do have a narrator. I try to think of the series without all the witty comments they make and it made me realize it would be a lot different without those jokes. If they had a narrator, ohhh god it would be lovely.
*A * Seeing some cool wing designs and having them being realistic in patterns would be really sweet. It would certainly make the series make themselves already separate themselves from a lot of series if they do that.
Funny enough I wasn't worrying too much about the CGI till I realized that some shows these days have some really cheesy stuff. Though, I am sure they'll get some good CGI!
Personally I can't wait for the scene with Crowley and the holy water. I find that scene horribly hilarious for some reason. I wonder if they will do the phone line sequence.

Oh, man, that's such a good scene! I do hope they do the part with the phone line sequence. When I was reading that the first time, I thought it was so cool!
Plus, I always liked the idea that Crowley had holy water close by as a sort of last resort to defend himself. I hope they do that scene, too!
And for cool wing patterns, maybe they don't even have to be realistic bird wings, but maybe have some markings on the feathers to indicate angel or demon status? Nothing blatantly obvious to indicate who is on what side (black feathers for demon and white feathers for demon), but more like mysterious and fun designs.
I'm just reminded of the cool tattoo designs of the brush gods from Okami. Though that's leaning more into Asian design...

I'd love something like the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy TV show in terms of storytelling and narration. Though perhaps more up to date special effects would be required because bloody hell those special effects are hilarious.
A narrator is really quite important for Good omens I think. Without one there'd be so many details that would end up getting left out.
